Pastor Wiecher

Rev. William S. Wiecher

Pastor Wiecher is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in American with over thirty years of ministry experience. Since his ordination in 1989, he has served as Pastor of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Paltz, New York (1989-2008) and, along with his spouse the Rev. Wynemah K. Hinlicky, as Co- Pastor at College Evangelical Lutheran Church in Salem, Virginia (2008-2013).


Since 1998, Rev. Wiecher served as a Chaplain (Colonel) in the United States Air Force Reserve. Pastor Wiecher is also a 2017 in residence graduate of the Air War College, Maxwell AFB, AL. His most recent assignment, prior to being called to serve as Pastor of Christ the King, was as the U.S. Air Force Academy Chaplain, where he served on extended active duty for the 2018 academic year. As of March 2021, he is retired from Air Force Reserve as the first Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA)) U.S. Space Force Chaplain.


Pastor Wiecher is a 1981 graduate of Capital University, Columbus Ohio, with a BA in History/Secondary Education and Religion and Christian staff work. He attended Seminary at The Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago and graduated in 1989 with a Master of Divinity. He also holds master’s degrees in Philosophy from Fordham University, and in Strategic Studies from United States Air War College.


He and his spouse the Rev. Wynemah K. Hinlicky, is also an ordained ELCA pastor, presently serving as Pastor of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Palmetto Bay FL, and is a certified Spiritual Director. They are the proud parents of three adult children, Joseph, Mikaela, and Liam Wiecher.

Rev. Caroline S. Torres


Pastor Callie has been an ordained pastor in the ELCA since
2021. Before being called to Christ the King, she served as the pastor of Saron Lutheran Church in Escalon, California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a concentration in Behavioral Neuroscience from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, and a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Evangelism and Justice from Pacific Lutheran Theological
Seminary in Berkeley, California. 

Before attending seminary, Pastor Callie served at Christ
the King as the Ministry Associate from 2012-2017, spending most of her time on programs for children and youth. She spent her summers in college working on the summer camp staff at Westminster Woods in Occidental, California. She is passionate about helping kids experience God, ask questions, and explore their faith in fun and age-appropriate ways!

Pastor Callie’s husband Jorge is a High School English
teacher. They have a curious and energetic daughter Amelia and two elderly and loveable cats, Pwa and Griot.

Eric Firestone

Choir Director

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Eric Firestone graduated from the University of Miami Frost School of Music, where he earned a Bachelor of Music. Currently, he is the Director of Choral Activities at the South Miami Middle School, Center for the Arts. In addition, his extensive vocal career has granted him the opportunities to share the stage with many other great musicians, including, but not limited to Dr. Jo-Michael Scheibe, Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Habermann, Karen Kennedy, Moses Hogan and Andrea Bocelli, experience that he draws back in to his rehearsals to evoke the spirit of each song and as it relates to the message of the week.

Additionally, Eric Firestone serves as the Manager of the South Miami branch of Elite Ocean View Realty and is a Governor on the Miami YPN Board for the Association of Realtors. Currently, he speaks four languages, English, Spanish, Italian and Norwegian.



Alex Toussaint

Music Director

Alex K. Toussaint is a Miami based musician who has been performing and teaching in the city for the past 10 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Florida International University where he trained as a singer and choral director. Alex has sung with FIU opera theater, Miami Music summer festival, IlluminArts Miami and has been a guest soloist at many churches and events throughout the years. Notably, He has served as a section leader, cantor, and worship leader at Santa Cruz Resurrection church for the past 10 years. A prolific pianist as well, Alex has experience accompanying ensembles and soloists, as well as playing church services, funerals, and weddings. Currently, Alex serves as the chorus director at Hialeah Senior. He is thrilled to be joining Christ the King Lutheran Church and assume the captaincy of the talented Kairos Band.

No job is too big or too small for Robert, who has been with Christ the King nearly 20 years. Robert is at church on Sundays and throughout the week, and you can find him busy with everything from fixing sprinklers, to setting up for events, to assisting a member with heavy boxes. Robert’s work is his calling. He is a graduate of Palmetto Senior High and had Mrs. Doris Ludder, wife of the founding pastor of Christ the King, as his guidance counselor. He served in the Army; is a former National Guard Recruiter and was licensed in private investigation. He and his wife have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time, Robert lifts weights and coaches wrestling.
