Community Groups

At Christ the King Lutheran Church, our Community Groups—also known as Small Groups—are where faith and friendship grow side by side. These gatherings offer a welcoming space for deeper conversations, shared prayer, Bible study, and real-life support. Whether meeting in homes, online, or on campus, each group helps people connect more personally with God and with one another. No matter your stage of life or level of biblical knowledge, there’s a place for you to belong, be encouraged, and be known.

Wednesday Bible Study

Pastor Bill leads the Bible study along with Pastor Hinlicky from our sister congregation St. Thomas. It is held in the Red Room on Wednesdays at 10 AM throughout the year both in person and through Zoom. All are welcome to attend in the study of God's word.

Attitudes About Aging

Christ the King has teamed up with Samaritan Counseling Centers to offer a luncheon series for women, designed to promote healthy attitudes toward aging. Past speakers have presented on topics ranging from nutrition, to personal safety, to communication skills, to fashion. Women from throughout the community attend the "AAA" lunch programs.

Rummage Sale

The Rummage Sale is an Upscale Resale of fantastic high quality items including men's and women's clothing, jewelry, linens, art, collectibles, furniture, housewares, children's toys, electrical devices, books, plants, and food items. The sale is held twice a year on a Saturday from 9:00-2:00 in one of CTK's large conference halls. Proceeds from the sale go to ministries of the church. The next sale is Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00-2:00 pm.

Yoga

Yoga at CTK takes place on Saturdays at 9 am. During Yoga classes held monthly at CTK, participants learn how to become more flexible, and increase their mobility in their day to day life. Yoga also helps strengthen muscles and increase endurance. See Yoga times and dates in the CTK Calendar.

Martha's Mondays

Martha's Mondays is a women's organization for growing in the Lutheran faith. It is held together with our sister congregation St. Thomas, and is in person on the third Monday of each month.

Men's Ministry

The foundation of this men’s ministry is the format of the classic “Salon” as a gathering of people. During the gathering they amuse one another and increase their spiritual life and faith through study, service and mutual conversation. This group meets in person on the third Wednesday of every month.
